Jared Leija

Jared was born and raised in Colorado. Despite having limited exposure to the outdoors growing up, his adventurous nature has been a key guide for him over the last six years. After recommitting to his faith in 2018, he spent several months training for international missions work and traveling to different parts of Asia.

In 2020, Jared chose to commit himself to being intentionally discipled, leaving his job in HVAC to join a local leadership school. Over the next four years, he developed a biblically founded lifestyle and honed his leadership skills through hands-on, high-pressure experiences, including outdoor expeditions and international missions trips.

In 2024, Jared married his wife, Bethany Leija, and together they stepped into a leadership capacity at Venture Off. Jared is excited to work arm-in-arm with his wife, as well as long-time friends Kris, Michaela, and Kia. Even more, he is thrilled to be part of a team devoted to the redemptive work and power of the Gospel, just as he is.
